Divotino Monastery of the Holy Trinity is located 4 km south-west of Bankya (Mihaylovo quarter), in a secluded riverside spot in the wooded slopes of Lyulin Mountain.

The monastery church is dated to the Ottoman period, possibly the 16th/17th centuries.
It was renovated in the early 20th century. Today the church has new murals – part of an overall reconstruction of Divotino monastery.

There is also a newly built chapel at the entrance of the monastery. The monastery is a monastic community, well-kept and maintaining full-bodied spiritual life and liturgical worship. The holy place is astonishingly beautiful – another reason as of why it is visited by thousands of Christians.
